Expand or Relocate Your Business

Is Customer Demand Enough to Expand or Relocate Your Business?

Use this checklist to make sure you’re on the right track to expand or relocate your business:

  • Your business has been steadily profitable for at least three years—not just experiencing a recent surge in profits.

  • You have a steady, positive cash flow.

  • Your current business is running smoothly. Your team must be ready to run the existing location without having you around all the time since you’ll be spending much of your time at the new location/s.

  • The need for your product or service is growing and underserved. For example, do you have more business than your location can handle, leading to long lines? Do you frequently have to turn away business?

Setting Up a New Location

Setting up a new business location in Eastvale will require proper verification of:

• How the business will be used
• What is permitted regarding zoning
• Any improvements due to new building codes

In Eastvale, we realize that time is crucial when establishing, relocating, and expanding a business. If you need to expedite your permit to meet specific deadlines, we can work with you to achieve that goal. While the development and permitting process can be time-consuming, the City of Eastvale provides a one-stop source for moving your projects forward.

Workforce and Professional Development

Eastvale offers its companies a network of partnerships and resources to recruit talented and trained employees, saving employers time and money. Workforce and professional development are valuable in ensuring employees are skilled and capable of market demands.

Many programs such as job referral and applicant screening services, tailored recruitments, on-the-job and customized training programs are provided at no charge to employers.

State of California Employment Training Panel (ETP)

The State of California Employment Training Panel (ETP) is a joint business-labor state agency that funds training to ensure employers have the skilled workers they need to compete locally and globally.

ETP provides funding to employers to assist in upgrading the skills of their workers through training that leads to good-paying, long-term jobs. The ETP is a funding agency, not a training agency.
